“I almost felt like I didn’t deserve to live.” “I thought there must be something wrong with me.” No 14 year old should be thinking like this. But the reality is, being abandoned by family and bullied by friends can leave any kid questioning their worth. This reality, and more, was Mason’s. The impact left him deeply depressed and damaged. Perhaps the biggest tragedy is that this sort of story is all too familiar. His story is a powerful example of how God can bring hope and healing to someone and also what a faith community can do by showing His love.
